THE CHALLENGE

Central Square BID reached out to us, looking to create a visually compelling campaign along the main street running through the district. This was their first campaign post-COVID shutdowns, and they wanted a colorful splash that livened up the streets and enhanced Central Square's unique character.

STRATEGIC APPROACH

Two local photographers' photos captured enduring community relationships, cultural richness, intergenerational connections, and the character distinct to Central Square. We built the campaign creative around these stories, allowing the photos—and stories within them—to take center stage. We intentionally placed the banner and big belly graphics around the district, ensuring business owners and residents were featured near their places of business or leisure.

OUTCOME

Our design and branding initiatives brought about a rejuvenated Central Square, characterized by a revitalized and unified visual identity that mirrors its cultural diversity and inclusiveness. This has instilled a sense of community pride and cultivated a welcoming neighborhood atmosphere, thus playing a pivotal role in sustaining the Square's ongoing vibrancy and growth.
